Navigate to the Bank of America CashPro API Developer Portal Homepage
Select “Sign up”, then create an account user id by entering your First Name, Last Name, and Email
Enter the Access code sent to the email you listed on the previous page
The email you receive will be titled “Sign up for CashPro API Developer Portal Account Access Code” and will be sent from “alerts@cashproalerts.bofa.com”

Note: your user ID is set to the email address you entered while signing up
Complete the First time sign in by Creating challenge questions
Once you are signed in, navigate to “Your dashboard” on the top of the
screen. Select the “Request production access” button in the bottom right.
You will be routed to the Get access form. Select “CashPro” as the platform.
Fill out the required Integration detail fields. The “Secret manager” must be
the individual completing the form and must be a CashPro user admin on all
of the accounts the client would like to include in their Trovata instance.
Select Indirect for Integration type, then select Trovata as the Vendor name.
The Trovata administrator name is “Jelani Vassall”
The Trovata administrator email is “integrations@trovata.io”
Select the API “CashPro Reporting (Balances, Transactions)”, then enter the Cashpro User ID.
The Trovata connection will use authentication tokens associated to this CashPro User ID. If the user’s access ever changes or the user leaves the company, the authentication will be broken. Another form will have to be completed for the authentication to be transferred.
If payments is in scope for this implementation, please select all payment API options.
Verify all information entered on the form is correct.

You will receive a “New client API access request” from
alerts@cashproalerts.bofa.com. This email will include a confirmation ID.
Please copy the Confirmation ID and send it to Trovata through our secure chat feature, along with your account list and associated bank IDS.
NOTE: Run a classic cash balance report in CashPro and export in CSV or Excel. The account list will have the CashPro BankIDs next to the full account number with leading zero.
In about 15 days after completing the form, you will receive an email from Bank of America directly with a Client ID and Client secret. Please copy the Client ID and Client secret and send it to Trovata through our secure chat feature.
