Overview

When you log in, the Home page welcomes you with three main sections:

  1. Account Summary: An interactive, birds eye view of your core data.

  2. Balances and Transactions Widgets: Provide different perspectives of your core data directly from the Home page. The cadence of the widgets automatically updates to comfortably summarize larger date ranges.

  3. Recently Viewed: Displays the report objects you’ve recently accessed.

Filtering

To personalize your Home page and display only the accounts that matter most to you, click the Filter Accounts button and select the accounts you want to include. This selection is saved at a user level and will automatically update all content on your Home page to reflect your selections.

NOTE: This setting is unique to your Trovata view and won't affect your colleagues' Home pages.

Setting a Date Range

The date selector at the top of the page will always display the last 30 days by default. Editing the date range will automatically update all content on your Home page, but keep in mind that the date range will reset to the last 30 days when you leave the page.

Account Summary

The Account Summary widget offers a high-level, interactive view of your core data and is the centerpiece of the Home page experience.

Review Historical Periods

By default, this widget displays the last 30 days of data and pins to the most recently completed period, which is typically yesterday. This ensures you’re seeing the most complete data, as current-day reporting updates throughout the day. In the widget, current-day values are shaded grey to reflect this.

The chart is interactive, allowing you to explore historical periods or the current period. Clicking on a period will pin it and dynamically update the metrics at the top of the module for Total Cash, Net Cash Flow, Inflows, and Outflows.

Each of these metrics is clickable, linking you to more detailed views of your data, either in Analysis for Total Cash or the Transactions dialog for cash flow metrics. Trend metrics will always display the period-over-period change.

Account Summary Preferences

  • Choose a new Group By option from the dropdown menu. Your selection will be saved for future visits.

  • Note: the Cadence to view your data will not be saved and resets to “daily” each time you view the Home Page.

Digging into the Data

You can easily explore specific groups by clicking on any group listed below the chart. This will update the chart to show only that group’s metrics and the accounts that belong to it, giving you a focused view of that part of your data.
